Since we all know that we'd get bored if all I did was turn this into a blog about what I get from Plated, I decided to combine a bunch of posts together (ok, and well, I'm behind) and make one big post highlighting the plates I've made.

I succumbed to an ad on Facebook. I kept seeing an add "Liked" by a friend of mine from undergrad for a food and recipe delivery business, Plated.com. Their idea was to mail people fresh food and recipes so they can try to cook foods they wouldn't normally with the convience of not having to purchase so many ingredients they wouldn't be able to use up. I liked the idea, because I hate going to the grocery store with a passion! The people! The lines! Having to hunt for what your looking for, load, unload, load and unload your basket! And it always takes way longer than it should! Bleh! What would I not like about FedEx bringing me everything I need to fix for dinner and it arriving right when FedEx said it would? Sign me up! My first box contained two recipes, Apple Cider Pork Burgers with Shaved Brussels Spouts Salad and Saag Paneer with Garlic Naan. I chose these two because I love Indian food and love pork chops but never buy them when I go to the grocery store. The recipes turned out great, so I decided to continue receiving boxes every week and trying different recipes.
