On one of my phone calls home a few days back, my dad mentioned that the St. Louis Cardinals had to win one more game to go to the National League Championship and Game 1 was going to be in St. Louis on a Saturday night. Happened to ask if I'd be interested in going. Of course! See a baseball game! Absolutely!
The Cardinal's last game ended in the middle of the night and I woke up the next day with an email from my dad saying that the Cardinals won! And he'd already booked a hotel room in St. Louis for the weekend to see Game 1. My job, to find us tickets when I got the email.
Arriving early to work, I hopped onto the Cardinal's website to see if any tickets were available. It was a little scary seeing that they weren't naming who was playing at Busch Stadium over the weekend or that three seats were hardly available on the site! I bounced around between the Cardinals site and stubhub.com trying to decide where I'd get the best, guaranteed real seats and settles with some seats in the outfield out the third base line. They will have to do, given the other options were single seats spread across whole sections!
